MORE TO COME?

Hundreds of thousands of exhausted Philippine flood survivors crammed into schools, gymnasiums, churches and other makeshift shelters on Tuesday as the death toll from the weekend disaster soared to 246. - Tue Sep 29, 1:14 pm ET

And there's more to come - the World Meteorological Organization said in Geneva a new tropical depression had formed east of the Philippines on Tuesday, although it was too soon to predict whether it would form a cycle that would reach the archipelago. The only thing to do is to send our prayers and support. I heard the President opened up the Presidential Palace and allowed some of the flood victims to enter. Nice gesture.

I read about this new storm brewing up in the Pacific. They're saying that it's following the same path that Ondoy took. I HOPE NOT. I don't think those affected by this recent tragedy can handle another one...not this soon anyway.

Let's all hope and pray this storm will just go away.

Kamusta Mommy Debby?

Sana naman lumihis yung bagyo...if not, sana humina at walang ganong ulan. We need to pray really hard so those affected by Ondoy won't go through the same ordeal.

Enjoy the weekend.

This typhoon Pepeng which came right after Ondoy is now on it's way out of the country. Luckily, Metro Manila wasn't hit much by the storm though Northern Luzon was left badly damaged.

I think Pinoys are resilient to hardships and difficulties. We'll get over this, basta tulong-tulong at sama-sama.

Musta ka na Debs? Kelan ba ang dating ng stork?

The storm has just passed. Although it didn't pass our city (BAguio) directly, we still had very bad rains and strong, strong winds.
