DOGS AND KIDS

This is one of those moments that you can just sit back and soak in the cuteness of these pictures. My husband wants a dog so bad but he said he would rather get up in the middle of the night with our baby than with a puppy. I agree!!


Someday we will get a dog and our kids will love it sooooo much!! But for now, we will be happy just looking at these photos. Hope you enjoy these pictures also - have a great day!!!!

Those are ADORABLE pictures!!! I know what you mean about wanting to wait to get a dog until your kids are older. . .my husband and I joke now about how we used to get up in the night with our first dog, Bella, when she was a puppy - longer than we ever had to with Logan!!! She and our other dog Cosmo definitely prepared us for having a baby, but they are a lot of work now that I have Logan. I feel like I have three kids.

P.S. Thank you for the comment on my post the other day. Good for you for being a stay at home mom and not letting this special time pass you by!!! :)

Isn't it dangerous to place a baby on their stomach while he or she is sleeping? What about SIDS?

Also, is the dog sleeping too, or guarding the baby? THX!

Anonymous/Dog - that child is clearly over 6 months old (at that point babies can sleep on their stomach because they have the ability toroll over, SIDS typically occurs only in the first six months). We always put our son on his back - but once he started rolling over on his own during the night there was nothing we could do to stop him. Since then he will only sleep on his stomach. As for the other pic, it's obvious the dog was clearly staged just for that moment.
