IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING....

Twenty-two beauties competed on Thursday, June 11 in the 2009 search for Miss Iriga City, Miss Rinconada and Miss Tourism held open-to-the-public at the city’s open-air coliseum.

Doesn't seem like the biggest pageant in the world but what caught my attention was one of the contestants answer to the following question:

"If you could change one thing in the Philippines, what would it be?"

Her answer was not exactly politically correct like most pageant contestants answers have become. Let's see, "I would change the hunger crisis, I would change the poverty of the Philippines, I would change....." blah, blah. But her answer was very profound and actually would change the Philippines a lot - here's her answer. "If you could change on thing in the Philippines, what would it be?"
