LASIK SURGERY

LASIK technology has come a long way over the last several years. From the nervous first days of applying a laser to your eyeball to the refined days of today where there is so little risk. The technology and education about lasik surgery has made progress by leaps and bounds. You can find LASIK information just about anywhere but the most reliable places are the institutes that do the work and have been doing it successfully for a long time.

Today, even NASA and the U.S. military are taking advantage of lasik technology to enhance and perfect their "mission critical" personnel's eyesight. The Department of Defense and NASA have even affirmed that today’s LASIK exceeds all established standards of safety and effectiveness. Modern LASIK, known as the iLASIK™ Procedure, uses two lasers instead of one, as in earlier versions of the procedure. Among those military personnel surveyed, 95% said they achieved 20/20 uncorrected vision or better. Those are impressive results.

If you are contemplating the iLasik procedure, please click on either of the above links and you will find a host of information about the procedure, local doctors that perform the procedure and even a test to see if you are a good candidate. Check out their website today!
